Nordic media RSS feeds

Hans Kullin has researched Nordic media RSS feeds and found in the neighborhood of 80. Things are (sort of) picking up in other words. The question is when Nordic companies will begin adopting RSS for distributing press releases. I think Swedes will make the transition relatively painlessly. The average Swedish press release is one page; by the end of the first page most American PR folks are still struggling to get past all the superlatives about their fabulous company and its exciting range of can't-do-without products. Distributing a news release via an RSS feed means having to get to the "news essence" in two or three sentences. No room for excess verbiage or buzzwords.

Who knows, RSS might even improve relations between journalists and PROs.
